Catalyst Career Advisor is designed to be fully anonymous. We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, physical address, or IP address. You can use our service without ever creating an account.

2. Data Storage & Local Storage

We use your browser's Local Storage to save your survey responses and chat history. This data is stored exclusively on your device. We do not store this data on our servers. You have complete control over this data and can delete it at any time by clearing your browser cache or using the "Reset" tools within the app.

3. How We Use Your Data

The information you provide in the survey is used solely to generate personalized career guidance through our AI engine (OpenAI). This data is processed in real-time and is not used to train AI models or for any marketing purposes.

4. Your GDPR Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • Right to Erasure: You can delete all your data instantly by clicking "Reset Survey" or "Reset Chat".
  • Right to Access: All data we have is visible to you in the survey and chat interface.
  • Right to Portability: Your data remains on your device and is not locked into our systems.
